The Kentucky birth index lists two births for Flora Calaway in Morgan Co., one on 3 Apr 1912, certificate Vol. 49, #19489, mother’s maiden name Beckie Jones, and one on 4 Apr 1912, certificate Vol. 49, #19482, mother’s maiden name Rebecky Jones. Perhaps the birth was reported to the recorder both by the parents and by the attendant.

Her death certificate is indexed by Ancestry.com as “Dora Calaway”, but the name looks to me more like Leona or Leora. It records a stillbirth on 4 April 1912 in Morgan Co., father Ed Calaway, born in Elliott Co., mother’s maiden name Sarah Jones, born in Rowan Co., cause of death not known had no physician, informant Mrs. Calaway, Craney.

The birth certificates have no images online, so I cannot compare what the name looks like there.
