1900 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Caney precinct, enumerated 16 June, lists on p. 12A as family #187/193:
Davis, Hiram, 55, b. Dec 1844, farmer; Berthana F., wife, 37, b. Dec 1862, married 26 years, mother of 2 children, 2 living; William L., son, 25, b. Jan 1875; Hugh D., son, 23, b. March 1877. Day, Emma, servant, 20, b. Feb 1880, single, cook. All born Ky Ky Ky.
Berthena should be 47 instead of 37.
The number of children is written in pencil or light ink, lighter and in more tilted hand than the other numbers, so it was most likely added in later. (The household numbers are also corrected in pencil or lighter ink in the same hand.) If it is correct, then Miranda Alice is not their daughter, but if it was added later, then whoever added it may have just been counting up the two sons in the household.
