The first, #17739, filed 30 May 1929 and stamped delayed records Virgie Ratcliff, female, age 14 years 12 days, born 11 Feb 1915 in Dehart, Ky, died 24 Feb 1929 in Panthers Branch precinct, Morgan Co., Ky, father James Ratliff, mother’s maiden name Annie Cassity, both born in Blaze, Morgan Co., Ky, cause of death “appendicitis suspose to be the cause”, informant James E. Robbins, Dehart, Ky, burial in Ratliff Cemetery. (It really does say Ratcliff for Virgie and Ratliff for her father.)
The second, #7595, filed 10 April 1930, stamped as delayed and marked as a duplicate, records Virgle Ratcliff, male, age 14 years 13 days, birthdate blank, born in Dehart, Morgan Co., Ky, died 24 Feb 1929 in Pleasant Run precinct, Morgan Co., Ky, father Jas Robbins, mother’s maiden name Anna Mae Ratcliff, both born in Dehart, Morgan Co., Ky, cause of death appendicitis, informant Jas Robbins, burial in Ratcliff Cemetery.
The third, #7594, filed 10 April 1930 and marked as a duplicate, is virtually identical to the second one, except that most of the names are typed rather than handwritten, and it includes a birthdate of 11 Feb 1915.
