In 1900 she was recorded (incorrectly) as Straucy Stegall, age 1, born Aug 1898, with her mother and Mottie’s mother. Jennie had gone back to her maiden name, and the entire household was recorded under that surname.

In 1910 she was recorded as Strocie B. Martin, age 10, niece, with her uncle John L. Martin, husband of Mottie’s sister Ida.
