Be careful not to confuse him with General Taylor Cooper born 11 Feb 1900 in Rowan Co., son of Thomas Cooper and Martha A. Hamm, or with George Taylor Cooper born 4 Feb 1899 in Fleming Co., son of Horace Greeley Cooper and Jallie Ratliff, both of whom went by Taylor.
The SSDI lists Taylor Cooper, born 31 Jan 1900, died Feb 1977, last residence Muncie, Delaware Co., Indiana, SSN issued in Ohio before 1951.
An online family tree at Ancestry lists his death as 17 Feb 1977 in Joplin, Jasper Co., Missouri. I do not know if that is correct.
