Notes for Oliver Caskey
There is an Oliver Caskey buried in Caskey Cemetery in Lenox with the dates 1878-1924, but the birth year would be wrong by nine years for this Oliver Caskey. (I cannot find a corresponding death record.)

1900 census of Morgan Co., Ky, West Liberty precinct, enumerated 8 June, lists on p. 5A as family #90/92:
Caskey, Oliver, 31, b. Mar 1869, farmer; Nannie, wife, 30, b. Sep 1869, married 6 years, mother of 3 children, 3 living; Effa, dau, 6,b. Mar 1894; Lonnie, son, 2, b. Sep 1897. All born Ky Ky Ky.
It is curious that Nannie is recorded as the mother of 3 living children, with only two in the household. She does not seem old enough to have a child already out of the nest.
The preceding three households are headed by, going upwards, Oliver’s brother Castle, his widowed mother (incorrectly recorded as male and single), and his brother Ellis.
