The SSDI lists Ernest A. Davis, born 12 May 1896, died 16 Apr 1990, last residence Warrensburg, Johnson Co., Mo.

Warning: Some family trees on Ancestry.com erroneously identify her with Mayme L. Huntimer, 19 Sep 1898 - 15 Sep 1991, of Minnehaha Co., South Dakota, daughter of George V. Huntimer and Rose Ann Darrow/Darrah, who married a Davis and appears in the SSDI and on her gravestone (in South Dakota) as Mayme L. Davis. This apparently just comes from accepting all of Ancestry’s “hints”. Besides the mismatch of birthplace, that Mayme Huntimer was listed in South Dakota in the 1920 census as still single, living with her parents, when this Mayme and Ernest were already married.
