The California death index lists Ande Earl Downing, born 22 Dec 1890 in Missouri, died 1 Apr 1941 in Los Angeles Co., mother’s maiden name Cleveland.
(This is apparently a mistranscription from a handwritten record. The name Aude or Audie is common in Kentucky and Missouri, but may not be familiar to transcribers in California.)
