His obituary reported:

“WILLIS-Truman William Quesenberry, 100, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2001 at New River Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Betty Jo Quesenberry.

Survivors include: wife, Gladys Turpin Quesenberry, Willis; sons and daughters-in-law, Hubert and Anita Quesenberry, Buford and Lillian Quesenberry, Willis; grandchildren, Darel Quesenberry, Garrett Quesenberry, Deborah Sutphin, Andrew Quesenberry, Donna Hall, Jerry Quesenberry, Randy Quesenberry, Ricky Quesenberry; 11 great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one step-great-great
grandchild; sister-in-law, Cora Quesenberry, Christiansburg; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral was November 18, 2001 at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elfer Kenneth Hopkins and Elder Cletus Turner officiating.”
