Her gravestone instead has her birthdate as 27 July 1847, but since she was listed as age 4 in 1850 and age 14 in 1860, the earlier date is most likely the correct one.

Linn Co., Missour marriage register records the marriage on 21 Sep 1866 of Henry D. Nickell and Sarah E. Nickell at the home of the bride’s father in Linn County by H. C. Owen, Minister of the Gospel.

All other records show Sarah’s middle name as Amanda. She and Henry were second cousins.
