The Kentucky death index lists William M. Caudill, age 68, died 28 Mar 1957 in Fayette Co., usual residence Rowan Co.

Her death certificate records Mrs. Eva Ellen Caudill, age 31 years 9 months 8 days, born 22 Sep 1898 in Ky, died 10 July 1930 in Ashland, Boyd Co., Kentucky, residence 2705 Morgan St., married, wife of W. M. Caudill, father James Shields, mother’s maiden name Nannie Price, both born in Ky, cause of death cardiac heart failure, informant Wm Caudill, Ashland, Ky, burial in Morehead.

1920 census of Fleming Co., Kentucky, Poplar Plains precinct, enumerated 6 Jan, lists on p. 3A as family #45:
Caudle, William, 31, farmer; Eva A., wife, 27; Orval S., son, 7; Marvin S., son, 5; Oma M., dau, 1 1/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Boyd Co., Kentucky, Ashland ward 2, enumerated 9 April, lists on p. 13B as family #289, at 2705 May St:
Caudill, Willie, 40, age at first marriage 22, junk man; Eva, wife, 33, age at first marriage 14; Arnold, son, 18, laborer at junk shop; Stanley, son, 15; Oma, dau, 11; Rosa F., dau, 8; Thomas, son, 6; Ruby, dau, 4 1/12; Gladys, sister, 20, single. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Eva died just three months after this census was taken. I have not found their two youngest children in the 1940 census. (The older ones were already married and on their own. Willie was remarried to Cinda Cooper and living in Rowan Co., but there were no children in their household.)
