His obituary, as transcribed at FindaGrave.com, reported “Benjamin Franklin Harnon, 67, widely-known Delaware County resident, died at 5:30 O'clock yesterday morning at the family home, 604 West Willard St, after an extended illness. He was a plumber and drainage contractor.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs Bessie Harmon; one son Arthur Harmon; two daughters, Mrs Hobart Riddle and Mrs William Branson; one brother, William Harmon, all of Muncie; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Place of funeral services for Benjamin (Frank) Franklin Harmon has been changed from Salvation Army Citadel to the Meeks Mortuary. The services will be conducted at 10 a.m Saturday with Capt. Rowland of the Salvation Army in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.”

Her obituary, as transcribed at FindaGrave.com, reported “Mrs Bessie Smith, wife of Frank T. Smith, 1414 S. High St., died Thursday night at her home following an illness lasting one week. She was a Muncie native and had spent her entire life here. She was a member of the South Side Church of the Nazarene.
Besides the husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs Hobart Riddle, Muncie, two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary after 7 p.m Saturday. Service will be held at the South Side Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Walter Greek will officiate and burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.”
