Johnson and Flora Johnson, widowed, to Bertha Riddle, born 27 July 1897 in Kentucky, daughter of James Riddle and Millie Prather, her first marriage, both residents of Muncie, Indiana, original record in Book C28, p. 541.
Judging by censuses, John P. Johnson was really Arnold’s grandfather, not his father. Since John and Mary had no sons born before 1881, Arnold must have been born out of wedlock to their daughter Florence.
