Since he was listed as 2 in the 1850 census, the year of birth is probably incorrect. But it seems to be the birthdate he went by for most of his adult life.

Her gravestone, a double one with Samuel, says Vine Cox Brown, 1874 - 2 May 1946.

I cannot find a matching death record in Kentucky; she may have died out of state.
