His obituary reported “Wilburn E. Ginter, age 80, of Kendall Springs Road in Owingsville, passed away at Hilltop Nursing Home, Monday, July 14, 2003. He was born January 29, 1923, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Ginter. He was retired from Delta Gas Company, after 36 years of service, and a member of the Kendall Springs Church of Christ. He was the widower of Bertha Clayton Ginter.
Survivors are three grandchildren: Richard Adkins, of Owingsville, William Estill Adkins, of Richmond, Kentucky, and Tammy Anderson, of Owingsville; and sven great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Anderson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2003, at the Richardson Funeral Home, in Owingsville, with the Rev. Bob Ray officiating. Burial was in the Kendall Springs Cemetery.”
