Notes for Thomas Ingram
Some show this Thomas Ingram as the son of Alexander Ingram who died 9 May 1782 in Botetourt Co., Virginia, others show him (as well as William b. ca 1760) as the son of Abraham Ingram (1718-1790) and Rhoda Collins, also of Maryland. Alexander Ingram definitely had a son Thomas, listed in his will. Whether that was the same Thomas who moved to Kentucky is unproven.

Bath Co., Ky will book A (1811-1824) records on p. 175 the will of Thomas Ingram Sr., written 31 Aug 1815, probated 11 Aug 1817, which lists sons Collins, Purnell, Thomas Jr. and Abraham, and daughters Elizabeth Sexton, Elan Welch, and Lavinia Crow. Witnesses Peter Davis, John Oakley and George Pugh.
