In January 1920 George was recorded with Lizzie and her widowed mother as George Rice, 24, boarder, widowed. Lizzie was recorded as Lizzie Ingram, 19, dau, widowed. I do not know the names of the first spouses of either of them, but both first marriages must have been brief. George and Lizzie apparently married shortly after the census was taken, since they had a stillborn child in Nov 1920.
