Rowan Co., Ky marriage book 4, p. 289, records the marriage on 7 Aug 1902 of Thomas L. Purvis, age 37, 2nd marriage, farmer, residence Ramey, born in Rowan Co., to Olie Carpenter, age 23, 2nd marriage, residence Ramey, born in Rowan Co., to be at Wm Ingram’s, at Hirum Purvis’s by J. B. Adkins, witnesses John H. Ramey and Aaron Purvis.

The latter 4 listed as born Ky Ky Ky, although it should be Ky Ky Ohio for Gertrude and Cecil.
