“Prophet Paul Black, age 76, of Huber Heights passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at Kettering Medical Center.
Paul had 53 years of service to the Lord and service to his fellow Christians. He was the pastor and founder of the Last Day Message Gospel Church and producer of the Last Day Message Broadcast.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Mary Black; sons, Johnny and Ronnie Black; daughter, Sheila Black. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Black; children, Barbara (Robert) Gray, Brenda (Eddie) Brown, Cheryl Coteral, Connie (Ronnie) Gaines, Mike (Christina) Black, Rebecca (Doug) Brooks, & Paul A. Black, Jr.; step-children, David (Beth) Donohue, Frank (Davina) Donohue, Elizabeth Donohue, & James Donohue; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Rev. David Donohue & Rev. Frank Donohue officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.”
