“Mary L. Montgomery, 82, of Adams died April 3, 2009.
A private family service was held Easter Sunday at her home and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Gilbert, W. Va. Mary was born in Portage Township, Houghton County, Mich., on Feb. 8, 1927, to Adolph and Estelle Mary (Edgerton) Laux.
Mary married Earl Montgomery on Jan. 30, 1960, in Waukegan Ill. He died Nov. 16, 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda J. Montgomery of Adams; son, Ronald S. (Cindy A.) Montgomery of Crivitz; brother, Jack (Donna) Laux of Atlantic Mine, Mich.; sister, Dorothy Madigan of Houghton, Mich.; and three granchildren.”
