His obituary reported:
“Paul E. Royse, of Goose Creek, the husband of Fayetta M. Royse, died June 29, 2010.
Born April 24, 1925, in Fullerton, KY, he was the son of the late Clella Royse and Florence Alderman Royse.
Paul was a proud WWII veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Lexington.
He was a member of Chaparral Baptist Church in Moncks Corner and was the past president of the Berkeley Senior Center in Goose Creek and a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Royse and brother Roy Royse and is survived by his wife of 64 years Fayetta; two sons: Gary Royse (Joan) of Chesapeake, VA and Wayne Royse (Christine) of Waterford, VA; a daughter: Paula Bodner (Jack) of Goose Creek; sister: Ruby Booten; twelve grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Estates.”
