“Denver Dalton, 85, of Waddy died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Shelbyville. He was a member of the Highland Baptist Church, retired general manager at Atlantic Envelope and was a consultant for Papercone Corporation. He was a 32nd degree mason affiliated with Scottish Rite in Florida. He was an Army-Air Corp veteran serving as tech sergeant and radio operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estill and Anna Alderman Dalton, brother, Asa Dalton and sister, Margaret Keesling.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda Robinson Dalton, Waddy; daughters, Kimberly Mills, Waddy; Barbara Stear and Carol Lockhart, Indiana; special nephew, Mike Merchant, New Castle, IN; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Ellcessor and Rev. David Head officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Thursday, April 8th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.”
