MARTIN, Bro. Mellon, died at his home in Klickitat country, Washington, April 10, 1904, age unknown, but about 66 years. He had been a member of the Brethren church of a number of years; had been in this country only two years, nine months, He was a great sufferer from asthma for fifteen years, which was greatly relived by this climate. He leaves a wife and two stepsons in this part; six children in Floyd county Virginia. Funeral service by Bro. M. F. Woods, Interment in the Stiverson Cemetery. Ann C. Castle.
Obituary: The Gospel Messenger-May 14, 1904 page 318 MARTIN, M. M., died in the bounds of the Stiverson congregation, Klickitat Co., Wash., April 10, 1904, aged about 70 years. He was born Virginia. His first wife and daughter preceded him to the spirit world. He leaves a wife in Washington and three sons and three daughters in Floyd county, Virginia. Bro. Martin was a member of the Brethren church of a great many years. He suffered for fifteen years with asthma. His health had improved wonderfully in the three years of this stay in Washington. Cold and pneumonia ended this life. Interment in the Stiverson burying ground. Funeral services by the writer, from I Cor. 14:51. M. F. Woods
