Notes for Mary Dickerson
Her gravestone has the dates 1871 to 1962, and the 1900 census recorded her as born April 1871, but it is probable that she was really born in 1869. There are two Mary Dickerson/Dickisons in the Carter and Elliott Co. area who were born in 1869 (one the daughter of George Dickerson and Mary Rucker, and the other the daughter of Benjamin Dickison and Sarah Phillips), but I cannot find any who were born in 1870 or 1871.
