Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage on 10 Jan 1856 of D. H. Hamilton, age 23, born in and resident of Morgan Co., to Eady Brown, age 22, born in Floyd Co., residence Morgan Co.
Census
1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 1, West Liberty P.O., enumerated 13 July, lists on pp. 61-62 as family #375/372:
David H. Hamilton, 28; Eady, 22; Francis A., 3 (male); James F., 1; William W., 12. All born in Kentucky.
Eady’s age is not consistent with their marriage record, which listed her as age 22 in Jan 1856.
I am not sure of the parents of this William W. Hamilton age 12. It is possble that he is the Willliam W. Hamilton born Mar 1846, son of Samuel Hamilton and Cynthia Hill, who would be David’s nephew. But it is somewhat unlikely, since that William W. Hamilton was recorded in 1860 as age 14 with his parents. It is more likely that he is the William Hamilton who married Lucinda Ellington.
There are no other Hamiltons on either page; the surrounding families are mostly Lemasters, Hill, Coffee and Williams.
1870 census of Johnson Co., Ky, Flatgap precinct, Paintsville P.O., enumerated 6 Aug, lists on p. 16 as family #103:
