Her obituary reported:
“Mrs. Cora Donathan, 70, widow of Farmer Donathan, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday in the Mary Chiles Hospital in Mt. Sterling after a long illness. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Francis Belcher, Owingsville; four brothers, Edward, Lonnie, Russell and Clyde Donathan, all of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Mrs. Paul Walton, Salt Lick; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the Keal Funeral Home by the Rev. Eugene Hampton on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with burial in the Kendall Springs Cemetery.”
