Collins, age 81 years 2 months 26 days, born 5 Jan 1833 in Bath Co., Ky, died 1 April 1914 in Forge Hill precinct, Bath Co., Ky, widowed, father Buck Collins, born in Bath Co., Ky, mother’s maiden name don’t know, cause of death broncho pneumonia, informant James Collins, Owingsville, Ky, burial in Purvis graveyard.
Census
1850 census of Bath Co., Ky, district 1, enumerated 13 Aug, lists on p. 54 with the family of George Moores age 49 and wife Elizabeth age 48:
Pazmanohln (or Pazmanohlu) Collins, 17, b. Ky. There are no other Collins in the household or on the page.
Bath Co., Ky marriage book 1 records the marriage of George Moore and Elizabeth Collins on 17 March 1824, so Pazman would not be a stepson. He might be a nephew of Elizabeth’s.
Census Notes for Pazman O. & Julia Ann (Family)

Callens, P. O, 35, farmer; July A., 31; Mary E., 16; Caraline, 13; Bohannan, 10; John W., 9; Alexander, 7; Lyda S., 3; James, 1. All born in Kentucky.
1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Polksville precinct, enumerated 2 June, lists on p. 2 as family #18:
Collons, Pazman, 47, farmer; July A., 42, wife; Bouxhannon, 21, son; John W., 19, son; Leandrew, 16, son; Litty S., 13, dau; James P., 11, son; Joseph S., 8 (? faint), son; Emily, 6, dau; Thomas H., 2, son; Goodpaster, Will, 8, boarder; Lucy B., 6, boarder. All born Ky Ky Ky.
The son Leandrew must be the same one listed as Alexander in 1870. The son listed as Joseph S. is apparently the one later known as Len. (There is no other 1880 census reading for Len, and no later record for Joseph.) This census enumerator does have very sloppy handwriting, but the middle initial for Joseph does not appear to be an L. Ancestry has indexed it as A, but it is very like all the S’s on the “Son” entries, as well as the names Shrout and Samuel on the page, and unlike the L’s in Leandrew, Litty or Lucy.
