Her death certificate records Miss Mary Hendrix, age 67, born 1851 in Ky, died 12 Dec 1918 in Wyoming precinct, Bath Co., Ky, single, father John Hendrix, mother’s maiden name Sarah Davis, both born in Ky, cause of death apoplexy, informant Tim Riddle, Owingsville, Ky, burial in Hendrix graveyard.
Tim was the nickname that Tillman Riddle went by. I don’t know of any particular relationship between him and this Hendrix family other than being a neighbor. (In the 1910 census Tilman Riddle is recorded 10 households after the household that contains Mary and her mother, with Tilman’s son Clem being just three households after the Hendrixes. In the 1920 census Tilman is living with Clem. So it may be that after her mother died, Mary also moved in with Clem as a boarder.)
