His obituary in the Dayton Daily News of April 5, 2007 reported “INGRAM, Clarence E. age 89 of Middletown, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born November 14, 1917 in Olympia, Kentucky the son of Thomas Butler Ingram and Essie (Short) Ingram. He worked for 37 years at General Motors retiring in 1982. He is survived by four sisters. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin Street, Middletown, Ohio with the Reverend Janet Dillaman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery with military honor conducted by the American Legion Post 218 Color Guard.”
