Bath Co., Ky birth report for 1853 lists Sarah E. Hiley, born Sep 4, father Bird Hiley, mother’s maiden name Judith Sexton.
Since this date is only 10 months after the recorded birth of her sister Charlotte, it is probable that either Charlotte was born in 1851, or Sarah was born in 1854. (The reports are collected during the spring from midwives and doctors, and are supposed to be for all births they attended during the previous calendar year. The columns do not list the year, just the month and day, and sometimes births from either the current year or two years earlier get included.)

The birthdates are off; Charlie’s draft registration gives his birthdate as 17 Oct 1881, and later records for Nancy suggest that she was born in 1883.
