“C. FAYE GREGORY, 81, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Crystal Care of Mansfield after an extended illness.
Born October 15, 1930 in Fleming County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Walter and Lou Ada (Parish) Cox. She attended Real Life Community Church formerly Church of Christ in Christian Union and retired from Taylor Metal Products after 21 years as a press operator. Faye enjoyed cooking, baking, doing church work, going for long walks, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her sons. Gary (Mary Jo) Gregory of Williamsburg, Iowa, and Keith (Rita) Gregory of Mansfield; grandchildren, Anna Powers, Laura Sinn, and Denise Gregory, all of Iowa and Charles Gregory, Dustin Gregory, and Dana Wynn, all of Mansfield; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Jewell Reeves of Mason, Ohio; and brothers, Walter Cox, Ebert Cox, and Donald Cox all of Hillsboro, Kentucky.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Gregory in 2008; sister, Edith Reynolds; and brothers, Willard, Blaine, Cleddith, Oral, and Stirl Cox.
Friends may call Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Chaplain Alden Thibeau. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.”
