His death certificate records Geo W. Wills, age 67 years 8 months 18 days, born 11 Oct 1849 in Ky, died 29 June 1917 in Bath Co., Ky, married, farmer, father, Jerry Wills, mother’s maiden name Elizabeth Kerrick, both born in Ky, cause of death mitral regurgitation of heart or chronic valvular disease of heart, informant George C. Meadows, Salt Lick, Ky, burial in Cal North graveyard.

The reported age and birthdate are probably off by two yearse. His parents were both still single in the 1850 census, and George was recorded as age 8 in 1860, age 28 in 1880, and age 48 born Oct 1851 in 1900. (In 1870 he was recorded as 14, but in my opinion that was probably an error intended to be the age of his brother Henry, who is missing from that census.)

1910 census of Bath Co., Ky, White Sulphur precinct, enumerated 25 April, lists on p. 12A as family #257/270:
Wills, George W., 58, second marriage, farmer; Rosa B., first marriage, married 10 years, mother of 3 children, 2 living; Mattie K., dau, 24; Isaac, son, 21; Lydia P., dau, 8; Burley L., son, 4. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The next household is headed by William Meadows and Lula McCarty, whose son Virgil would soon marry George and Priscilla’s daughter Mattie.
