“Frederick D. James, 84, Greencastle, died Wednesday evening.
He was born May 1, 1913 at Greencastle, the son of Fred and Charlette Mae (McGrannahan) James. He retired from the New York Central Railroad in Anderson.
Survivors include his sister, Doris Hester; his nephew, Eldon DeWayne Lewis and his wife Jan, all of Greencastle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and his daughter and son.
Services were head Friday at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Staley officiating.”
