Notes for Clarence Blair Pittman
His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records Clarence Blair Pitman, age 36, residence Lynch Mines, Harlan Co., Ky, born 27 Sep 1882, occupation miner, employer United States Coal & Coke, nearest relative Annie Pitman, Lynch, Harlan Co., Ky.
The Kentucky death index lists Clarence B. Pittman, age 78, died 15 July 1958 in Perry Co., residence same.
Notes for Anna Wallace (?)
I am not really sure that Anna is the daughter of Charles Wallace or that her maiden name is Wallace. She may be Emma’s daughter by a previous marriage. I cannot locate Charles and Emma as a couple in the 1900 or 1910 censuses. The birth index for Hattie is no help, because it erroneously gives Anna’s maiden name as Pittman.
