Her obituary in the Morehead News reported:
“Mrs. Naomi Doris Webb Whitt of Clearfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Rev. Wallace L. and Pernie Littleton Webb.
Mrs. Whitt was retired from Morehead Youth Development Center where she was a business teacher. She enjoyed genealogy research, spending time with family and friends and most of all religious activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Whitt.
Survivors include her children, Susan Maxey and her husband, John of Hillsboro and Randy Whitt of Cincinnati, Ohio, grandsons, John Dilan Maxey and Weston David Maxey, her brother, Ralph Webb of Solider and sisters, Anita Musser of Burke, Virginia and Pamela McClurg of Hillsboro.
Private graveside services were conducted at the Brown Cemetery with Rev. Ray Glover officiating.
Pallbearers were John Maxey, Ralph Webb, Ken Musser, Zachary McClurg, Michael Webb, Jeremiah Fuoss and Brian Fuoss.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 20, 2010 at the East End Church of God Fellowship Hall.
Contributions are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Claire Hospice.”
