Most census records suggest a birthdate around 1879 or 1880. (Unfortunately I cannot find his parents in the 1880 census.)
His death certificate records Simmon Ingles, age 52, birth date blank, born in Ryne Co., Ky, died 22 Sep 1930 in Nolan, Lee district, Mingo Co., West Virginia, married, husband of Mary Williams, father William Ingles, mother’s maiden name Elizabeth Patton, both born in Perry Co., Ky, cause of death chronic myocarditis, informant Flemm Ingles, Muncy, Ind, burial in Farmers, Ky.
