His gravestone gives his birthdate as 9 April 1906, but that is very unlikely since the death certificate indicates that his birth information was taken from a birth certificate. Also he was recorded as age 16 in the 1920 census, and he had four siblings (Ida, Bertie, Holley and Olive) born after him and by 1909, which a birth in 1906 would not leave room for.

I cannot find Milford in the 1930 census.

1940 census of Denver Co., Colorado, Denver ED 16-225, enumerated 3 April, lists on p. 2A as household #62, at 1330 18th St:
Goodman, Milford, 34, single, b. Ky, maintenance rwy trackage for steam railroad; Woods, Bert, partner, 30, b. Nebraska, laborer for steam railroad. Both living in same place but not same address in 1935.
