Short, Calvin, 50, farmer, b. Va Va Va; Louisa, 39, wife, b. Tenn Tenn Tenn; Lizzie, dau, 19, b. Tenn Tenn Tenn. (Note that the father’s birthplace for Lizzie is inconsistent with the birthplace for Calvin.)
The next household is headed by Elijah Short, age 22, with the relationship field given as “son”, and the one after that by Granvil Short age 50, with the relationship given as “bro”, even though they are both heads of household with their own wives and children identified relative to them.
