Listed as Rose age 1 month in the 1860 census (taken in June), and not in the 1870 census, at least not by that name.

Rose either died before 1870, or she is the same child as Barbara, who was recorded as age 9 in 1870. I lean more towards the latter interpretation, because the birth spacing would be very tight to fit another daughter between Rose born in May 1860 and Sarah born in April 1862, a span of slightly less than two years. Changing the names of young children was fairly common in the days when there was little formal record keeping and babies were often not even given a name until they were judged likely to survive infancy.
