The 1900 census and his gravestone both agree that Jessie was born in Aug 1887.

Tuba City was, in 1887 when Jesse was born, in Yavapai Co., Arizona. It became part of Coconino Co. four years later when that county was formed in 1891.

The six older children are from Jesse’s first marriage; only Marguerite is a child of Clara’s.
