She was born in Zag, Kentucky, on June 4, 1927, to the late Luther and Ellen (Crouch) Cox.
Norma retired from General Motors - Harrison Radiator division in 1977 after 30 years of service; and she attended Towne Boulevard Church of God in Middletown, OH.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Lowell Amyx; her daughter, Vickie Adams of North Ridgeville, OH; her grandson, T. Eric (Audrey) Warren of Florham Park, NJ; her step-son, Daniel J. (Vicki) Amyx of South Carolina; her 3 step-grandchildren, Daniel, II, Joshua and Shasta Amyx; her step-daughter, Lola Ann of Columbus, OH; her beloved sister, Pearl (Earl) Johnson of Germantown, OH; a special niece, Charlotte "Kay" Phelps of Germantown, OH; numerous other nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Valerie Skinner of Springboro, OH; and dear friend, Jerry Skinner of Dayton, OH.
Friends may call 12 Noon to 2 p.m. Friday, July 13th (2 hours prior to the Service), at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, OH, where the Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., with Pastor Frank Curtis officiating. Burial Germantown Cemetery. A special thanks to the Hospice of Dayton staff and all the caring friends and relatives for their support.”
