1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 31 Aug, lists on p. 82 as family #530:
Elizabeth Ferguson, 32; Henry, 12; William, 6; Miles, 2; Martha J. Ferguson, 15; Henry, 12. All born in Kentucky.

The first three children are Elizabeth’s. The last two are children of Ambrose Ferguson and Mary “Polly” Williams. (Both Ambrose and Polly were first cousins of Elizabeth’s husband Daniel W. Ferguson.)

Morgan Co., Ky marriage books list the marriage on 29 Oct 1857 of H. J. Ferguson and Sally Fyffe, at John W. Ferguson’s by John Williams, witnesses William Ferguson and Elliott Williams. The annual report of marriages to the state auditor records this marriage as Henry J. Ferguson, age 20, born in and resident of Morgan Co., and Sarah Fife, age 22, residence Lawrence Co., Ky.
