1870 census of Johnson Co., Ky, Barnetts Creek precinct, Paintsville P.O., enumerated 24 June, lists on p. 9 as family #59:
Slusher, Elijah, 17; Elizabeth, 17. Married in November.
Although Abijah’s name is wrong and the marriage date is off by one year, this must be the family of Abijah Slusher and Elizabeth Conley. They do not appear elsewhere.
1880 census of Johnson Co., Ky, Barnetts Creek precinct, enumerated 1 June, lists on p. 1 as family #7:
Slusher, Abijah, 27, laborer, b. Ky Ky Va; Elizabeth, 23, wife, b. Ky Va Va; William C., 4, son; Delana, 3, dau; Florence, 3/12, dau, b. Feb. All children born Ky Ky Ky.
The daughter Delana should be a sone.
1900 census of Greenup Co., Ky, Hunnewell precinct, enumerated 15 June, lists on p. 12A as family #183:
Slusher, Abijah, 52, b. Nov 1847, Ky Ky Va; Elizabeth, wife, 48, b. Oct 1851, Ky Va Ky, married 25 years, mother of 7 children, 4 living; David, son, 16, b. Oct 1883; Emily, dau, 13, b. July 1886. All children born Ky Ky Ky.
