The SSDI lists Tennie J. Mays, born 24 June 1924, died 3 Oct 1999, last residence Wrigley, Morgan Co., Kentucky.
Her funeral card has the same dates, but it is under the name Tennie Law, and lists as survivors: Husband Arvil Law, son Eldon Lee Adkins, three sisters Mae Jenkins, Inez Nelly, and Lennie Smith, one brother Emory Lee Clevenger, 4 step-daughters Phyllis Sexton, Imojean McClurg, Louise Sexton and Sue Eldridge, 3 stepsons Ralph Law, Mervin Law and Raymond Law, sister-in-law Gladys Click, 2 grandchildren, 21 step-grandchildren, and 9 step great-grandchildren.
Apparently she never got around to registering a name change with the Social Security when she married Arvil Law in July 1994.
