Floyd Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage of Hezekiah Adkins and Susannah Adkins on 31 Jan 1822.
Census
1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 7 Sep, lists on p. 106 as family #691:
Hezekiah Adkins, 49, b. Va; Susan, 46; Christian (male), 17; Frances (fem), 16; Locky, 13; Piety, 9; Hezekiah, 8; James, 5; Nancy Tacket, 4. Everyone after Hezekiah has a ditto mark in the birth place column, but other census years (as well as the marriage record) suggest that all the children were born in Kentucky, so probably the census taker just forgot to enter Ky on the line for Christian.
1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 1, West Liberty P.O., enumerated 24 July, lists on p. 90 as family #555/549:
Hesekiah Adkins, 58, farmer, b. Ky; Susanah, 57, b. Va; Hesekiah, 19, b. Ky; Harvey, 16, b. Ky; Gilbert, 30, b. Ky; Sarrah, 8, b. Ky; Green, 6, b. Ky; Bethany, 7, b. Ky.
Green (who should really be listed as age 5) is the son of Gilbert, per his birth record, so Sarah almost certainly is as well. Bethany is probably also a granddaughter of Hezekiah and Susannah, but whether she is Gilbert’s daughter or not is unclear, since she is also listed out of age order relative to Sarah and Green.
The preceding household is headed by Archibald Adkins age 30 with wife Arminda age 25. The following two households are headed by Frederick Adkins age 29 with wife Franky age 23, and Isaac Adkins age 30 with wife Sarah A. age 25.
1870 census of Elliott Co., Ky, precinct 1, Sandy Hook P.O., enumerated 27 June, lists on p. 36 as family #217:
Adkins, Hezekiah, 74, farmer, b. Va; Susannah, 73, b. Va; Betheny, 16; Green, 14; Susannah, 11. All children born in Kentucky.
The next household is Hezekiah Adkins Jr., age 27, living alone. The one after that is the family of Wyatt (spelled as Wiet) Adkins age 48 and his wife Matilda age 40, whose maiden name was also Adkins. Probably one of the two is a child of Hezekiah and Susannah, but I do not know which one, as they were married before 1850 and died before 1910.
