Her death certificate records Mrs. Stella Wright, age 45 years 10 months 11 days, born 28 Sep 1892 in Ky, died 9 Aug 1938 in Moorefield, Nicholas Co., Ky, married, wife of Alex Wright, father Frank Lynam, mother’s maiden name Ella Hornback, both born in Ky, cause of death cerebral hemorrhage, informant Clara Hyden, Moorefield, Ky, R #1, burial in Mt. Gillead, Ky.

The age and year of birth are probably wrong; Stella was recorded as age 10 born Sep 1889 in the 1900 census and age 20 in the 1910 census. The informant was her daughter, so it is unlikely that she did not know her own grandfather’s given name. The names Grant and Frank can look a lot alike in handwriting, though. The certificate is typed, but perhaps the clerk was transcribing handwritten notes and misread the name.

1920 census of Nicholas Co., Ky, Moorefield precinct, enumerated 6 Jan, lists on p. 3B as family #53/54:
Wright, Alex, 48, farmer; Stella, wife, 29, laundress; Catherine, dau, 6; Willie H., son, 3 9/12; Clara, dau, 2 10/12; Elizabeth, dau, 6/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.

1930 census of Nicholas Co., Ky, enumerated 15 April, lists on p. 7A as family #151/156:
Wright, Alec, 54, age at first marriage 28, farmer; Stella, 34, age at first marriage 16; Willie, son, 14; Clara, dau, 13; Elizeabth (sic), dau, 10; Frances, dau, 5 11/12; Mary Ruth, dau, 2 5/12. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The ages for Alec and Stella are different enough from other records that I am unsure how to interpret the age at first marriage numbers.

I cannot find Alex or the children in the 1940 census.
