The age and birth date are off by 9 years; he was recorded as age 6 in the 1860 census.

Morgan Co., Ky birth records list Maranda Bolin, born 16 Nov 1854, father Henry Bowlin, mother’s maiden name Elenor Blankenship. (It really does spell the surname differently in the child and father columns.)

The ages for both Ace and Marinda are far off; they do not seem to have recognized that taken together with the marriage length it would imply that Marinda was married at age 8.
