“MANSFIELD: Vickie Lynn Orewiler, age 45, of Chino, California, died Thursday, May 29, 2003 in Kaiser Medical Center following a long illness.
She was born August 27, 1958 in Mansfield, attended Garden Grove (California) High School, and Garden Grove Junior College.
A homemaker, while living in Mansfield in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s Vickie attended the First Assembly of God.
A gifted seamstress, she dabbled in art projects, notably charcoal and pencil drawings, and even enjoyed motorcycling.
She is survived by her son Shawn B. Orewiler, stationed in San Diego, California, with the US Navy Seals; her daughter Stephanie M. Orewiler of Mansfield; her father and step mother Bill and Callie Jarvis of Mansfield; a sister Sheila Jarvis-Lopez of Portland, Oregon; her former husband Brad E. Orewiler of Mansfield and her former mother-in-law Ruth L. Orewiler of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her former father-in-law Elwood E. Orewiler.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 2 pm in Mansfield Memorial Park. The Rev. Thomas Blair will officiate. The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.”
