“Clark, Donald J., age 73, passed away July 27, 2010 at home after a brief illness.
Don was born February 5, 1937 in Detroit, MI to Perris and Margaret Clark. Don retired from the Glaziers Union after 22 years, then worked for Hesperia Unified School District another 6 happy years before retiring again.
Don is survived by his beloved wife Betty Clark of 45 years, their daughter Pamela Diamond (Ken), 2 granddaugters Jennifer Diamond (Erik Smith) and Cameron Hague (Todd) and 2 beautiful great-grandchildren Celestia Diamond-Smith and Brendan Hague, they were the light of his life. Don is also survived by 1 brother Douglas Clark and 2 sisters Delores Merritt (Ted) and Donna Harris (Tom), many nieces and nephews, and other loving in-laws and friends.
Graveside services to be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA at 1:00pm on Friday, August 13, 2010, Pastor George Dzimiri officiating. A memorial service will be held at the Hesperia Elks Lodge 9202 E. Ave., Hesperia, CA at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 14, 2010. Pop you are very much loved and will be greatly missed.”
