Her obituary reported:
“Juanita Lewis Fitzhum, 89, of Marblehed, died Thursday at Cottage Cove, Riverview Senior HealthCare Campus, Oak Harbor.
She was the daughter of John Wesley and Ada Francis (Collins) Lewis. On April 3, 1943, in Marblehead, she married Aloysius A. “Chubby” Fitzhum and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2003. Juanita worked as a homemaker and belonged to the VFW Stanley Jadwisiak Post 7572, Marblehead.
Survivors include sister-in-law Oleta Lewis of Marblehead; brother-in-law Paul Harris Sr. of Blackburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Earl Lewis, Emerson E. Lewis and Aubrey Lewis; and sisters Veatice Sedlak, Thelma Lysinger and Delores Harris.
Visitaion: Noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gerner-Wolf-Brossia-Marsh Funeral Home, Port Clinton. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead.”
